Happy Monday! It is the start of a new week and I am very excited to start my week with a new blog post. My school work and internship has kept me away from blogging for a while. However, things have started to slow down and I was able to take outfit pictures during the weekend. It feels good to post again. Hopefully I will be back with another blog post soon :)

I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend! Today I want to show you guys this very girly outfit that I put together last Saturday. I have noticed that when I am in a hurry and put an outfit together I end up liking it much more than a planned outfit. I don't know why! I tried this dress on with a cardigan, a denim jacket, and finally with this pink blazer. Glad I went with the blazer, I feel that it makes this simple dress look chic and classy.

Hey guys! Here are some pictures of me taken at a beautiful beach in California. I wore my american flag shorts, a comfortable button up, and nude wedges. I've been addicted to these shorts since I made them. I've dressed them up with a fitting top and black pumps and I've also worn them more casually with a loose t-shirt and wedges. Since they were so easy to make, I am having a giveaway and making a new pair of shorts for one lucky winner.

Hey guys, so I stopped by Target and I saw this high-low dress and fell in love with the floral pattern and bold colors. Even though I was not planning on buying any clothes I had to get the dress! I also bought a cute little skirt with a very cool pattern. I plan on wearing it today and posting outfit pictures soon. Okay guys I guess it's time for me to go! I have so much studying to do it's a little depressing lol.  

DIY Polka dot pants

Let's get started! 

1- Start off with solid colored pants

2- You will need fabric paint and you can either use a chapstick lid or a pencil eraser. 

3- I wanted bigger dots so I decided to use a chapstick lid. Dip the chapstick lid into white paint and ligthly press down into pants. You can re-dip if your polka dots don't turn out how you want on your first try.

4- Keep repeating this step, let paint dry ...

and they're ready to wear!

Happy Monday I hope you all had a great weekend! Here is an outfit that I put together on Saturday to go have Sushi and drinks with my love, sister, and her boyfriend. We had such a great time on Saturday, it's always nice to spend time with the family. I have been wanting to work on these DIY polka dot pants for a while and I finally had the chance to do it. I know they did not turn out perfect, but aren't they fun? I have so many ideas on other DIYs, I can't wait to show you guys. Hope you're all having a lovely day.

Happy Friday eve! So the other day I was at Kohl's and I fell in love with this high-low mint colored dress. Well, actually I fell in love with the whole Candie's 2012 Spring collection. If you guys haven't had the chance to check it out you definitely need to. Every item is so fun and colorful, I wanted to buy everything.

A little edge

Hey guys hope you all had an amazing weekend! I've been so busy with school and work. Yes I recently started working again so it's been crazy. Crazy because I got 40 hours a week when I only asked for part time. I love being busy though and plus the semester is almost over just two more weeks and I get a little break. Do you guys remember a very old post of mine called Girly with an edge? Well, this is the look that I was going for. What do you guys think?
