Happy Friday everyone! I know that I have already told you guys how much I love body scrubs! In my post I love Kiwi I mentioned that I had been using a body scrub by Tree Hut. Since I recently ran out I am now looking into making my own body scrub. After doing some research on DIY body scrubs I found a recipe that involves mixing coffee, sugar, and massage oil together!
Most body scrubs are expensive and that is why it is nice to be able to make your own body scrubs from ingredients in your own kitchen. Caffeine can actually help eliminate varicose veins and decrease cellulite formation. At the same time it tightens skin and stimulates circulation.
The recipe is very simple the three main ingredients are coffee grounds, sugar, and massage oil. You can also use baby oil, olive oil or vanilla extract instead of massage oil.
How to apply it:
Apply the scrub while in the shower. Massage the scrub into your body in a circular motion. Leave on for about five minutes or as long as you would like and then rinse off.
this body scrub definitely sounds great! and not to mention, i love the smell of coffee! :)
